Car auctions are a good place to get good a bargain on cars. But buying cars from auctions can be very complicated. This is particularly true for the uninitiated. Of course the cars in auctions are generally cheaper. But they are cheap because they lack the guarantees that come with cars bought from dealers. The rules in auctions are simple, you bid an item, you pay for it, and you own it.

It is therefore not advisable for persons without much experience in motor vehicles to just go to an auction and buy a car.

What you’ll need if you’re planning to buy a car in an auction is a good eye, good observation skills and a willingness to learn the car auction process.

You can even make it a business by buying cars at auction and then selling them at a profit. There are several people who have made huge profits by buying and selling cars at auction.

There are basically two kinds of car auctions, local car auctions and online car auctions. Each of the auctions works differently. Each has a different set of rules so you must study them very carefully if you are planning to buy a car from either kind of auction.

If you want to buy a vehicle in a car auction you must first pre-register with the local auction you want to join. The pre-registration process won’t take much of your time and will provide you all the essential information that you will need in order to buy a car. An auction site will often have an auction staff who will explain to you the rules of their auction site and the procedures and instruction on how to participate and bid on the cars.

It is wise to inspect the cars before the actual bidding begins. Ask the auction organizer or staff if they can allow you to take a closer look at the cars before the start of the actual auction. Another wise decision is to set your payment limit before the actual sale. This way, you won’t fall victim to the trap of overbidding.

As in other auctions, it is very important that you signal your bids carefully to the car auctioneer to avoid confusion. Settle your transaction as soon as the auction ends. Look for the block clerk and settle your accounts with him. A car auction staff will usually be available to assist you when you are ready to pay for the vehicle you have won. He should also be able to guarantee you a good title for the vehicle.

You must also check the vehicle after you have won and settling your account. Take the vehicle for a test drive and make sure that it conforms to the guarantee and representation made during the auction.

Most auction sites would accept check or credit card if you cannot pay the car with cash. An auction staff will also usually give you a third party financing offer. It is advisable though to have your own finances ready before entering a car auction. Outside financing is usually cheaper than most in-house financing of auction sites.

Ask for an invoice copy from the auction staff. This will enable you to drive or ship your newly bought car to your location. Most car auction managers will give you good deals on shipping arrangements so inquire about this.

There really are no significant differences between a local auction and an online auction. Online car auctions work more or less the same way as local ones. The only disadvantage of online auction sites is that you won’t be able to inspect the car as you would in an actual car auction. In participating in online car auctions be sure that you will be provided with all the necessary information about the car upfront and that there is an actual photograph of the vehicle.

Cars bought from an online auction are usually shipped to the buyer for a minimal fee. Inspect the car immediately upon arrival at your location to minimize risks.

You are now ready for your first car auction. Happy bidding!

There are actually two kinds of car auctions; local auctions and online auto auctions. Let’s take a look at each of them, how they work and how you can utilize them to buy or sell a car easily and convenient.

Local vehicle auctions

If you want to participate in a local auto auction, the first thing you have to do is to pre-register with the local vehicle auction you intend to join. This is easily done and when you register you will also be provided with all the information you’ll need. The auction staff will explain the local auction rules and procedures as well as instructions about how to bid.

When you register a vehicle for an auction it will be assigned a unique number and a specific location in the auction yard. Be careful to give the exact information about your auto; the condition your car is in, the mileage and title status. If you want to bid on a car, you should inspect it closely before the auction starts. You should also set your payment limits before the sale. Don’t forget to signal your bid clearly to the auctioneer. If you have success with a bid, settle your transaction as quickly as possible with the block clerk.

Now, let’s say you have won a bid and the transaction semi-closed. Your next step is to check out the vehicle carefully. Take a test drive and make sure the auto conforms to the auction guarantee and representation. When you are ready to pay for your new auto, the car auction staff will assist you in paying and will normally also guarantee good title. If you can’t pay your vehicle with cash, check or credit card, the auction staff can almost always give you a third party financing offer. It’s recommended however, that you have the finances in order when you enter the car auction because it is normally cheaper to find your own cheap financing rather than take what you’ll get from the auction people.

The auction staff will produce an invoice copy for you that will enable you to drive or ship your new purchased vehicle to your location. Fortunately most car auction managers can help you make good deals regarding shipping arrangements.

Online vehicle auctions

If you think online motorcar auctions are significantly different from local auction, think again. As a matter of fact, online vehicle auctions work the same way as local ones. The only thing that distinguishes them from each other is that you cannot inspect the car before you buy it at an online auction, if its location is outside your area. Be aware however, that all the information you need about the vehicle is provided up front and you are also given access to detailed photos of the vehicles.

If you purchase a car from an online auto auction, it will be shipped to you for a minor fee. As soon as the vehicle arrive at your location, you will be able to inspect the car before you finalize the deal. So you have nothing to risk actually by purchasing your car at an online auction.

Buying cars at auctions is probably the best deal you can make. You are guaranteed to buy a vehicle for less than what the dealer or a private person would offer for it. If you buy it at a government or repo auction you will save even more for your new Lincoln, Pontiac or BMW.

Online auctions are all the rage. People want to save money and online auctions often allow you to pay pennies on the dollar for the hottest items. So how do you know how one online auction site differs from another? Is there a difference? There definitely is and you are about to learn all you need to know about online auctions.

Auctions That Have Been Around For A While

Some people choose online auctions sites just because of the popular name. With popular sites such as ebay, this can be a mistake. These sites may be well known but have their share of problems. Over time they have raised fees for sellers and have had more than enough dissatisfied customers to make you think twice.

With these online auctions you run a risk. The sellers must be closely monitored to ensure that you get what you pay for and do so in a timely manner. Maintaining the highest standards for an online auction site takes a lot of work and sometimes the quality slips when a site is so popular that they know people will keep coming back whether they get the best service and the best deals or not.

Advantages Of Exceet Online Auctions

Exceet online auctions, like other online auctions, are thrilling and fast-paced but unlike other online auctions they:

    * benefit from a real time clock. Instead of having to constantly refresh the web page, you can watch your online auction bids as time passes and monitor your progress.

    * You only pay for your Bids. There is no purchase price or shipping cost. All the sale prices and shipping is free! And you can even earn the Points to bid by simply surfing the site or filling in a survey or two. So you can win a flat screen TV paying no cash at all…only a bit of your time.

    * Have a renewing countdown clock. Each Bid increases the countdown clock by 30 or 60 seconds and if the clock counts back to zero before someone else bids you’re the winner.

    * Meeting the Reserve reduces the clock to 60 seconds. An Exceet Reserve represents a certain number of Bids rather than an individual bid amount. If an auction has a reserve on it and your bid hits the required number of Bids in the Reserve, even if there are 2 days left on the clock, for example, the clock will immediately reduce to 60 seconds. That means you’re 60 seconds away from winning the product.

    * Repay all your bids if a reserve is not met. So if you bid on a reserve auction, but the reserve is not met before the countdown reaches zero all your bids are repaid.

This site also allows you to get in on the ground floor and get amazing deals because not as many people know about Exceet online auctions. In time they will, but right now you have an amazing opportunity.

Online auctions are your chance to save money if you go to the right website. Do you want to choose a site because the name is famous or because you will save money on all types of items? Exceet online auctions keep the sellers and buyers happy while selling, bidding, and saving.

Online vintage auctions are excellent sources for buying collectibles, and auctions such as eBay can offer you some marvelous pieces at very low prices. There are ways to use online vintage auctions to your advantage such as sniping software and looking for valuable pieces that are obviously going to sell for a lot less that their real value, but you have to know about them to use them.

Definition of Vintage

First, a definition of the word ‘vintage’. Many people confuse vintage with antique, but the two are not the same – nowhere near it in fact. If I tell you that the word is borrowed from the wine industry then that should give a clearer idea of its meaning. Just as a vintage wine is one made from grapes grown in certain years, or periods within a year, a vintage collectible has been made during a certain period, and that might not be old enough for it to be declared an antique.

For example, an art deco piece of 1950s vintage is only around 60 years old, while one of ‘the Beatles’ vintage would have been made in the 1960s. A true antique would be of Victorian vintage or even Edwardian, since it would then be at least 100 years old. Generally, an antique must be at least 100 years old, although some use the term more loosely than that. Nevertheless, try to sell some antique furniture that is younger than late Edwardian and you might find yourself in trouble.

If Unsure, Ask

Buying collectibles at a vintage auction involves checking the piece and making sure that it belongs to a specific era. If you are unsure of the era of a ‘vintage poster’ then ask the vendor. If you are using an online auction site there will be a link to the vendor’s email address where you can ask the question: ‘what vintage is your Sophia Loren poster?’

The vintage makes a difference with collectibles just as it does with wines, and a Marilyn Monroe poster of late 50s vintage will be more valuable than a Brook Shields poster of any vintage! Even an antique can be of a specific vintage, and that is something to be wary of when buying antiques online.

Vintage auctions offering antiques can word their furniture ‘of Thomas Sheraton vintage’. That is not to say that it is a Sheraton piece, only that Sheraton was alive when the seller’s great, great, great, grandfather who made it in his shed 1790 was alive. Yes, an antique, because it is over 100 years old, and yes, of Sheraton vintage, but worth anything? Likely only sentimental value which does not mean dollars!

So sometimes the term can give you valuable information, although it can also be confusing. Nevertheless, online auctions tend to demand accuracy in a description, and so you can be as sure as possible that the seller is not trying to mislead you on eBay, Cowan Alexander, Amazon, Copart, or any other online auction site.

Payment Protection

Each vintage auction site has its own way of doing things, but one factor is true of all of them: you will generally not be cheated with respect to definitions of ‘vintage’, but if you are then they should have protection for you. Look for it and if there is none ask the question by email, but never purchase using online vintage auctions if you have no protection other than your own credit card.

You are protected with eBay through PayPal, and Amazon has its own protection for you. Both are excellent at offering you refunds if the product is not as described. Generally, however, you will find that the description of the collectible or piece of furniture on offer is sufficient to enable you to make up your own mind on its provenance, and if you are not sure, as stated earlier, email the seller and retain their response in case you need it later.

Final Advice

Make sure that you never bid above your predetermined price, because while auctions can result in you getting real bargains, they can also result in the opposite if a number of people want the same item and inflate the price. Also, if you are buying collectibles at online vintage auctions, make sure you check the delivery or postage cost.

There is no limit to what the seller can charge you for ‘postage and packing’ and that can come to more than the price of the item itself. I recently saw a canteen of cutlery in a wooden box selling on an online auction site for $1.99. A fabulous deal, but, as always, I checked the postage price: $65.

$66.99 was still a bargain for the cutlery, but not the $1.99 that many would expect to be paying – so keep clever and keep your eyes open – that way you will make the best use of online vintage auctions and get real bargains at low prices.

Auction is the stage of the foreclosure home process when the pre-foreclosure phrase of a foreclosure home has ended. Lenders will bring the title of the foreclosure home for auction and looking for new owner of the foreclosure home. The purpose of the lenders putting the foreclosure home on auction is to recapture the losses that the previous owner caused. There is only business in auction. People bid and the highest bid win the foreclosure home.

To win in auction, you must have understood the process of foreclosure home auction. In most of the cases, lenders are the first mortgage holder of a foreclosure home. Thus, the fund collected from auction has to first give to the lenders. Once the first mortgage holder has been satisfied, any extra funds will be used to settle any other remaining obligations. Then only the funds will be disbursed to the foreclosure homeowner if there are any remain.

1) Foreclosure Home Title Research

Who don’t want to make money if there are chances? To make money through buying foreclosure home in auctions, there are a few preparations you must do. If you are seeing a foreclosure home, you must first do a title research on it. The goal of doing the title research is to determine all the liens or judgments against the foreclosure home. These can include civil lawsuit judgments, unpaid personal property taxes and state and federal tax liens. This is because if you got the hammer knock on the foreclosure home, you will be granted the title to the foreclosure home subject to all liens and encumbrances. If you misjudge the hidden liens, there will be extra costs in your planning.

2) Getting Finance

Secondly, after doing the foreclosure home research and info collections, you need to be ready with financing. This is because in order to bid in auction, you need cash or cash equivalent to show you’re affordable to participate in auction. They will record your cash amount and that will be your limit to bid. If your bid exceeds the limit, your bid will be counted as invalid. Besides, when you present the winning bid, you will need to pay a 5-10% deposit on the spot as the conclusion of the auction while the balance of the purchase price due within a few days. You will need financing to back you up immediately.

3) Psychology Preparation

Thirdly, the psychology preparation you need is to get yourself used to the auction environment. It’s recommended that you attend the auction for a few times before making the first bid. This act will help you to get comfortable with the auction process and give you confident. Auction is very intense during the process. People will easily get controlled by the intense environment and get high in auction. This is always the cause of mistakes. For foreclosure home, if your bid exceeds the value of the house, you will earn nothing though you’ve won the auction. Thus, you have to set a bottom line in your bidding and stick to it. Most importantly, stay firm with your bottom line in auction and don’t easily get affected by the intense environment there.

Buying a foreclosure home in auction could really be a great bargain. Because a foreclosure home is being sold based on the balance of the loan but not on the market value. That means a foreclosure home is more profitable if the differences between the balance of the loan and market value is huge. Buying foreclosure home in auction can bring you fortune. If you are a home buyer, u save money; if you are an investor, you make money when reselling the foreclosure home with market value. Either way, to enjoy the profit from foreclosure home, you need to first start your research with foreclosure listings

If you’ve never been to a live auction, then you may not have ever heard of the term “collusion.” Not all auctioneers mention it, so even if you have been to an auction or two, you may never have heard of the term.

Collusion can be defined as “The unlawful practice whereby two or more people agree not to bid against one another so as to deflate value or when the auctioneer accepts a fictitious bid on behalf of the seller so as to manipulate or inflate the price of the property.”

Despite the fact that it’s illegal, it’s still a pretty common event live auctions.

Here’s a typical scenario. You’re at an auction and let’s say you’re looking at a pallet of computers. You see a lot of items on there that you could use and say to yourself that you’ll be bidding on that. You notice there are some printers on the pallet that you don’t need, but will still bid on the pallet when the time comes. Now, while you’re looking at this pallet of computers, another bidder has noticed your interest and approaches you. He asks you if you’re interested in the computers or the printers. You tell him you’re only interested in the computers. He says he’s only interested in the printers and wants to make an agreement with you. He says he wants to bid on the pallet, but will not bid if you agree to sell him the printers for half the bid price. Now if you agree, that’s collusion.

It may sound tempting, but as enticing as it may be, don’t do it. It hurts the seller at the auction because now there’s less competition than there should be for the items and makes it likely that the item will sell for less than it would have.

Some auctioneers have even been known to plant people to try to get people to agree to collusion, and if you do…well, it’s not good.

Now let’s look at collusion from the other side where the seller uses it to his advantage. In this case, the seller would plant a person to bid on an auction in order to artificially run up the price on the auction. This person has no interest in buying the item. They just want to make you pay more than you would have had to.

Next time you’re at an auction, just keep in mind what collusion is and avoid it. Keep the game fair. An auction is already a place where you can get a great deal.

An auction means a public sale of properties or objects that are sold to the highest bidder. There are a whole lot of things that can be put to auction. There are auctions that are held under various categories such as antiques and art, automotive that include vintage cars, motorcycles, accessories, etc. The other popular items include clothing and accessories of film stars and sports stars, scripts of movies, sports goods. The jewellery auctions selling intricately designed precious jewels and gem jewellery are extremely popular.

There are auction houses where you can go and bid for the things of your liking. The auction houses have a calendar holding the sale on a particular theme. You need to submit details such as name, address, telephone number and banking or credit information as is specified by the salesroom where you are going to bid. A unique number, known as the Client Number, is going to be allotted to you. A paddle is a plastic card bearing a number that is registered at the auction. The paddle is raised to bid and the auctioneer calls out the paddle number of the successful bidder at the time of selling each lot. When the gavel falls the auctioneer announces the hammer price. The hammer price is the final bid price, which does not include a buyer’s premium. The buyer’s premium is the money that is paid separately by the buyer to the auction house. It is a percentage of the final bid price.

Sotheby’s and Christies are two very famous auction houses. Samuel Baker founded Sotheby’s in the year 1744. However, today this premier auction house has branches on the Manhattan’s York Avenue and New Bond Street, London. The New York office was opened in the year 1955. In the year 1964 Sotheby’s acquired the Parke-Bernet, which was the largest art auction house of America. This acquisition helped Sotheby’s gain a sizable presence across America. James Christie founded Christies in the 18th century. A man having very charming demeanor, James Christie’s clientele included the British royalty as well. The auctions of Christies include some 80 categories. Their sales rooms in America are at the Rockefeller Center, New York and North Camden Drive, Los Angeles.

Auctions these days are not just limited to the auction houses. There are lots of websites that are into the business of auctioning. You can list the products you want to auction and invite bidders. You can specify the time when the bid closes as well as other terms and conditions. You need to specify that shipping and the other supply costs are to be borne by the buyer.

Click on the item of your choice and get set bidding.

eBay – the World’s Online Marketplace – is the place to go when you want to buy or sell anything on the Internet. eBay lets its members sell items on the Internet via Auctions, which entails bidding, and through the Fixed Price Format, which means that there is a set price for items on sale. eBay Auction is the more popular selling method between the two.

Selling on eBay

When selling on eBay, whether it is through eBay auction or the fixed price format, a person has to first register to be a member and then create a seller’s account. Credit card details or being ID Verified is needed to create a seller account. The next requirement is a picture of the item to be sold. This is required since most buyers want to see what the item actually looks like before buying anything.

The next thing to do is to get your item listed by clicking on the Sell Your Item button. After clicking on the button, be sure to give all the necessary information such as the item category, the title, item description, and the price, payment method, shipping costs, return policy, and payment methods. For your item to have a greater chance of being viewed by more prospective buyers you can list the item under more than one relevant category. Another effective strategy would be to have a very specific title that would most probably typed by prospective buyers as their search string.

To keep track of all your listings simply go to My eBay since it keeps track of all the items you’ve sold and are currently selling along with all the bids made on them as well as all the items you have bid on and are currently bidding on. My eBay also has a summary page, a favorites page, and your accounts page. As soon as the item is sold eBay will notify both the buyer and seller through email. Make sure that you communicate well with your buyer and notify the buyer that the item is being shipped as soon as you receive the payment.

In case you plan to sell your item through eBay Auction there are three prices you need to set before putting up the item n sale. First is the Starting Price. The Starting Price is simply the price you want the bidding to start. It is also usually the lowest price you feel that you can accept as payment for your item. Next is the Reserve Price. In case your starting price is lower than the amount you are willing to accept as payment you need to set the Reserve Price. Having a reserve price means that if the bidding ends with the highest bid still lower than the reserve price then your item will remain unsold. This price is concealed from buyers.

Last is the Buy It Now Price. The Buy It Now Price is the amount a buyer has to pay to get the item you are selling without having to bid. Both the Reserve Price and Buy It Now Price are optional. The reserve price can be advantageous since it will protect you from having to sell your item at too low a price but can also be disadvantageous since it may discourage buyers from bidding. The Buy It Now Price, on the other hand, is advantageous for buyers who really want to buy the item you are selling since there is no risk that they will be outbid if they automatically buy the item. It is also advantageous for you as the seller since it can hasten the transaction since you don’t have to wait for the bidding period to end. However, it can also be disadvantageous if there is much demand for the item you are selling since having a Buy It Now price will limit the amount bid even if some buyers might actually be willing to bid beyond that set price.

eBay charges the following fees to seller. The Insertion Fee, Additional Option Fees, and Final Value Fee. The Insertion Fee is a non-refundable fee charged for each item listed on eBay Auction. Insertion Fee ranges from $0.30 to $4.80. Additional Option fees are charged if you opt for additional features like the Buy It Now and if you want your item to be a Featured Item. The Final Value fee is charged depending on the closing price your item manages to garner after a successful close at eBay Auction.

Bidding on eBay Auction

To bid on an item in eBay Auction, click on the item you wish to buy to get to the item page. You can then place a bid by simply clicking on the Place Bid Button found on the right side of the picture. In case there is no such button it means that the item can only be bought at the set price and isn’t up for auction. When you place a bid the only price you will see is the starting price since the amount bid by other people will not be visible to you. Enter the maximum amount you will be willing to pay for the item you wish to purchase the click on the Place Bid Button. eBay Auction will automatically compare your bid with others and won’t bid the maximum amount you entered. Instead it will bid only what is needed to outbid the last bid. eBay Auction will do this automatically until it reaches the maximum amount you entered or you win the bid. In case another buyer outbids you eBay Auction will send you a notification so that you can enter a larger amount or at least know that you’ve been outbid.

In case you are bidding on a Reserve Price Auction check whether the current price bid has met the reserve price. If your maximum amount has been reached but the reserve price still hasn’t been met then you know for sure that you need to increase your bid since the item won’t be sold until the reserve price is met.

If you are nervous about bidding on an expensive item keep in mind that eBay has measures to protect both sellers and buyers from fraud. If you are simply nervous since it is your first time try bidding on cheaper items first before going on to more expensive stuff. You can actually find items for less than $1.00 on eBay auction.

It’s a heady feeling when you win your first eBay auction: a mixture of happiness and perhaps just a little fear. After all, there seems to be so much to do before you can actually get your item. What do you do next?

The simple answer is: you send payment to the seller, as quickly as possible. The quicker you pay, the more your seller will like you, and the sooner your item will arrive. But how you go about it? That all depends on how you plan to pay.

PayPal.

PayPal is one of the most popular options for paying on eBay, to the point where eBay decided to buy the company. It allows instant electronic payment across the Internet. Money goes instantly from your credit or debit card to the seller’s PayPal account, where they can either use it for Internet purchases or transfer it out to their bank.

eBay offer incentives for using PayPal, and almost all sellers now accept it. Its instant nature makes sellers very happy, and means that they can have your item packed and sent and leave you some positive feedback within a few hours of the auction ending. When paying by PayPal, you will be covered by PayPal’s own insurances and guarantees, as well as any that your card might have.

Cheques and Money Orders.

This is payment the old-fashioned way, and will lead to a long wait to your item. You need to post the cheque or money order, then the seller has to take it to the bank and get it cleared, and only then do they send the item. The only reason to use this method is if either you or the seller distrusts electronic payment methods. If you’re willing to go to the trouble with these sellers, though, you might get an item very cheaply, as most buyers just can’t be bothered.

When you pay by cheque or money order, make sure to print the eBay order confirmation page (it will be emailed to you) and put it in the envelope with your payment. Underline or circle key information like your mailing address and the item number. Finally, remember to be patient: keep in contact with the seller, as it really can take a month or two before everything falls into place and your item turns up.

Money Transfers and Bank Deposits.

Some sellers may ask you to pay them using a wire service like Western Union, or simply give you a bank account number and ask you to pay money into it. Unless you really trust the seller, this is generally a bad idea – these methods are hard to trace and you’re unlikely to get any money back if anything goes wrong. Paying in cash, it hardly needs to be said, is an even worse idea.

It’s all a lot to take in, isn’t it? I’m sure by now you’ve got a few questions, which is why the next email will be a little eBay buyer’s FAQ. Let’s hope we can solve any problems you might have.

You are about to go to your first car auction. You can feel the excitement in the air. There are so many cars to choose from. But do you really know what to expect at a car auction? Do you know the legalities that occur at a car auction? Most people get in way over there heads at a car auction. If this is your first car auction, you better come prepared.

There are a lot of things you need to do and a lot of things you need to pay attention to at a car auction. First off, before you go to a car auction make sure you have enough money in your bank account. All cars purchased at a car auction must be paid in full. You also need to bring your drivers license and any other form of ID to the car auction. This is needed to buy the vehicle and to do the title work and registration.

When you first get to the car auction you should make notes of the cars you are interested in. Then, if you can, go to kellybluebook.com and check the retail value of the vehicles you would like to purchase. This way you know what to go with when you make your bid. At a car auction, many vehicles have a reserve price. This means that the vehicle has a minimum price t be sold at. If it is too high, do not bid on it. Be sure when you do bid that you do not get into a bidding war. Never bid more than you can afford. If the bidding war begins, just walk away. At a car auction, it is every man for himself.

Before you begin to bid on cars, you need to see if the vehicle is a good buy or not. Many vehicles at a car auction could have been previously damaged. An example of this is in Texas and Louisiana many cars were severely damaged by flooding during a hurricane. These vehicles were sent to a car auction and the buyers more than likely had no idea the vehicles had flood damage. You may also wish to take a mechanic to the car auction. A mechanic is a good idea at a car auction because they can see where someone may have tried to hide repairs and damage that the vehicle might have incurred. Lastly, you can get a free Carfax vehicle history report on the vehicle if you get the vehicles identification number (VIN).

Remember, at a car auction vehicles are sold “as is” and they do not come with a warranty. Keep all of these tips in mind to protect yourself from a bad purchase. You are supposed to go to a car auction to get a great deal on a car and to save money. With the proper frame of mind, this is easily accomplished.
