NCAA or National Collegiate Athletic Association is considered to be the biggest Collegiate Athletic Association in the world with its head quarter in Indiana. It is a voluntary organization that frames the athletic programs of a number of Universities and Colleges in U.S.A. On the other hand, collectibles are those items which have some monetary value and are considered to give the collector pleasure and satisfaction. Therefore, NCAA collectibles refer to those items that are produced or manufactured after obtaining the license from the NCAA, such as these http://www.sports-collectibles-store.com/collegedoublerungbarstools.html. Those of you who love to collect items relating to sports would love the NCCA collectibles because they look really good and they will be a kind of pride and joy when you place them in your home among your collections.

Some of the collectibles include the NCCA fan flags. This item is especially popular among the youths for the purpose of cheering their favorite teams in any of the games. There are also a number of autographed items which you can look out for like an autographed football or basketball. Not only does the autographed football or basketball have the space for the autographs of your favorite players but it also has the logo or symbol of the NCAA on it. One other item which will hold your interest is the NCAA travel mug which you can use to drink your coffee or any cold drink. This mug has been made with stainless steel and has a double wall and as such, it will keep your drink warm or cold.

An increasing number of people are now taking an interest in the NCAA collectibles because sports collection is gaining popularity day by day. These items can be brought from the market; internet or you can even buy them from those people who do not wish to collect the items any more for their personal reasons. In order to collect these items, you will need adequate amount of money because these items do not come cheap. Those items that are cheap can not be the real NCAA items. There are a number of items from NCAA which might interest you and you can check them out from your local stores or through the internet. The best way to look out for the NCAA collectibles would be through the internet because you will not have to hop from one store to the other.

Watching The Antique Road Show and other programs that appraise collectibles often gives people the idea that they might have something valuable hidden away in their attic or basement. Others simply want to purchase a specific antique or one with potential for an antique in the future. But what exactly is a good investment when buying a collectible? Costs are intimidating, but the uncertainty of the investment’s worth is even scarier. It’s so easy to be taken in by an object that looks like the real thing, but unless you know what to look for, you could end up wasting your money. Not every antique dealer is as honest as we’d like them to be. Some just want to make a sale on an easy mark – you. Knowing some basic guidelines can help you make wise purchases and investments in objects with the potential you’re looking for.

Know the Basics

Valuable collectibles generally include a few categories – art, fine wines, dolls, rare books, and pop culture memorabilia. When making an investment, look for items in these categories if you plan on selling it for a profit in the future. One-of-a-kind items, such as an original painting or a first edition of a classic piece of literature are sure to appreciate in value. Other things, like an Elvis album or a Rolling Stones t-shirt might be less certain. Consider the market and how many of these items are in circulation before getting too excited.

Find Something You Love

Start collecting with items you enjoy. You’ll have more fun and you’ll likely find better deals. For instance, if you love 19th Century authors, you will be more inclined to read about their works and educate yourself as to their value. You’ll enjoy going to the trade shows and conventions for your particular collectible and meet other like-minded people with the same passion as you for a particular item.

Don’t Buy Without Knowing

Before buying any collectible, be sure you have a complete understanding of how to assess its value. Familiarize yourself with the different release dates, characteristic markings or abnormalities in the product before spending your money on it. Study it closely and do your homework to get the most for your money.

Garage Sales are Your Friend

If you enjoy gathering collectibles, garage sales, barn sales, and estate sales are full of opportunities for the serious collector. Most people just want to get rid of stuff that they consider “junk” without bothering to find out if it could be valuable. Lucky for you, these overlooked items are available at a fraction of the cost. Swap meets and flea markets also have a large number of potentially valuable items at bargain rates – if you know what to look for!

Buying and selling collectibles is a fun way to supplement your income, in fact, many people make a living by doing this. The secret is knowing as much as you can about the things you collect. Be thorough in your inspections and try to find items that will only appreciate over the years.

With the price of everything going down lately, people who purchase collectibles may be looking at their shelves full of well-loved pieces and thinking, “They’re not worth anything anymore! What will I do?” It may seem counter-intuitive, but the best thing might be to expand your collection. Just think about it: What are the smart investors doing right now on Wall Street? They are holding onto their portfolios and spending a little money to pick up some great bargains. That’s what you should be doing with your collectibles, too.

“To get a great deal” is the best reason to spend money in any economy, especially when it comes to collectibles. While it may not be the best time to sell off your own collection, you may see deals now on pieces that you don’t have that you would never see otherwise. A bonus to buying during a downswing is that, since you are buying items at a discount, the chances are good that your new collectibles will go up in value as the economy gets stronger.

Another reason to invest in collectibles in an economic downturn is if you’ve been thinking of starting a collection for someone else. If you have a daughter or niece to whom you were planning on giving a few pieces, those starter items now can be found at great prices. Often times merchants will bundle pieces together that make great starter sets and offer them at a discount. Plus, everyone knows that the most expensive time to collect is when you first start out, so now is the time to make those initial costs a bit less.

Remember the most important reason to collect anything: because it means something special to you. Can you really put a price tag on a collection if you purchased it for sentimental reasons? If your collection is making you happy then it is giving you value and no one can argue with that. Artwork that you collect because it makes you feel relaxed, for example, is like investing in your mental health. Figurines that feature different emotions or family members can memorialize events or honor loved ones while they expand your collection. Eventually, when the time comes to whittle down your collection, these items become perfect gifts for family and friends. If you’ve ever watched those shows where experts estimate the value of a person’s antiques or collectibles, you know that most people say that it’s nice to know how much it’s worth, but they’re not interested in selling due to family history with the item(s). A collection may have monetary value, but it all boils down to how much it means to you personally.

One of the best bonuses of collecting is the sense of community you get from talking and trading with other collectors. The internet has now given us the ability to talk to people all over the world who are interested in the same things you are. So even if you don’t feel like changing the size of your collection today, communicating with other people who appreciate the things you do can improve your mood, no matter the state the economy.

Posters collecting today is for both fun and profiit. Yet, the poster you thought was going to increase in value year after yearhas suddenly turned yellow after only three months and is now worthleess. What happened? What could have been done to prevent the yellowing? This article will discuss how paper is made. What materialls are best suited for long term storage and the guidelines for proper preservation.

How Paper is Made

Paper generally has plant fibers that have been reduced to a pulp, suspended in water and then matted into sheets. The fibers in turn consist largely of cellulose, a strong, lightweighht and somewhat durable material; cotton is an example of almost pure cellulose fiber. Although cotton and other kinds of fiber have been used in paper making over the years, most paper products today are made from wood pulp.

Wood pulps come in two basic varietiess: groundwood and chemical wood. In the first process, whole logs are shredded and mechanically beaten. In the second, the fibers are prepared by digesting wood chips in chemical cookers. Because groundwood is the cheaper of the two, it is the primary component in such inexpensive papers as newsprint, which is used in many newspapers, comic boooks and paper backs. Chemiically purified pulps are used in more expensive applications, such as stationery and some magazines and hardcover books.

Since groundwood pulp is made from whole wood fiber, the resulting paper does not consist of pure cellulose. As much as one-third of its content may consist of non-cellulosic materials such as lignin, a complex woody acid. In chemical pulps, however, the lignin and other impurities are removed during the cooking process.

Deterioration of paper

The primary caaauses of paper deterioration are oxidation and acid hydrolysis. Oxidation attacks cellulose molecules with oxygen from the air, causing darkening and increased acidity. In addition, the lignin in groundwood paper breaks down quickly under the influence of ooxygen and ultraviolet light. Lighht-innduced ooxidation of lignnnin is what turns newspapers yellow after a few days’ exposure to sunlight. (Light can also cause some printing inks to fade.)

In acid hydrolysis, the cellulose fibers are cut by a reaction involving heat and acids, resulting in paper that turns brown and brittle. The sources of acidity include lignin itself, air pollution, and reaction byy-products from the oxidation of paper. Anoter major source is alum, which is often used with rosin to prepare the paper surface for accepting printing inks. Alulm eventually releases sulfuuriic acid in paper.

Acidity and alkalinity are measured in units of pH, with 0 the most acidic and 14 the most alkaline. (Neutral pH is 7..00) Because the scale is based on powers of 10, a pH of 4.5 is actually 200 times more acidic than a pH of 6.5. Fresh newsprint typically carriies a pH of 4.5 or less, while older more deteriorated paper on the verge of crumbling, may run as low as pH 3.0. Although some modern papers are made acid free, most paper collectibles are aciddic and need special treatment to lenngthen their lives.

Other factors which contribute to the destruction of paper include extremes of temperature and humidity, insects, rodents, mold and improper handling and storage.

Guidelines for Preservation

First and foremost, keep your paper collectibles cool, dark and dry. Store books and other items in an unheated room, if possible, and regularly monitor the humidity. Excess heat and humidity should be controlled with an air conditioner and a dehumidifier. Storage materials such as envelopes, sleeves and boxes, should be of archival quality only to prevent contamination of their contents.

Polyethylene and Polypropylene

For years, collectors have stored their comic books, postcards and other collectibles in polyethylene bags, PVC sheets and plastic wraps. Although such products may be useful in keeping away dirt, grease and vermin, many plastic sleeves contain plasticizers and other additives which can migrate into paper and cause premmature aging. Booth polyethyllene and polyproppylene contain solvents and additives in their manufacture to assure clarity and increase the flexibility in the plastic. Polyethylene when uncoated without any solvents s a good moisture barrier but has a high gas transmission rate, and eventually shrinks and loses its shape under warmer conditions.

In recent years polypropylene bags have been sold under the guise of being archivally sound. This is far from the truth. Only uncoated and untreated material is suitable for archival protection. Currently, the only way to seal pollypprropppylene is to add a substance called PVDC (Polyvinyl Dichlooride which is a relative of PVC) tooo allow the material to be heat sealed. Therefore, once you add the harddmful additive, the sleeve now becomes non-archival and should not be used for long term storage.

Mylar

According to the US Library of Congress, the preferred material for preserving valuable documents is uncoated archival quality polyester film, such as Mylar type D by DuPont Co. or equivalent material Melinex 516 by ICI Corp. Mylar is an exceptionally strong transparent film that resists moisture, pollutants, oils and acids. With a life expectancy of hundreds of years, Mylar will outlast most other plastics. In addition, the brilliance and clarity of Mylar enhances the appearance of any paper collectible.

Acid Free Boards and Boxes

Because ordinary cardboard is itself acidic, storage in cardboard boxes may be hazardous to your collection, and is a leading cause of premature deterioration of paper collectibles. For proper storage, only acid free boards that meet the US Government’s MINIMUM requirements are acceptable. These requirements have been defined as boards having a 3% calcium carbonate buffer throughout and a minimum pH of 8.5. Anything less will hasten your collection’s destruction. While many advertisers claim that their boards are “acid-free at time of manufacture,” they are in reality only spray coated with an alkaline substance making them acid free for only a very short time. Boards termed “acid-free at time of manufacture” do not offer sufficient protection or storage for anything other than short term. True acid-free boards have been impregnanted with a calcium buffer resulting in an acid-free, alkaline pH content of 8.5 throughout.

Another way to extend the longevity of your collectibles is to deciidify them before storage. Deacidifying sprays and sollutions are now available for home use. By impregnating the paper with an alkaline reserve, you can neutralize existing acids and inhibit oxidation, acidity and staining due to certain fungi. However, it is best left to the professionals to deacidify your paper collectibles. Deacidification with proper storage conditions will add centuries to the lifetime of paper.

In summary, we recommend the following guidelines for the maximum protection of your collectibles: Deacidify the paper; store in Mylar sleeves with acid-free boards and cartons; and keep the collection cool, dry and dark. Periodic inspections and pH and humidity tests are also recommended. By following these simple guidelines, you can be assured of a collection that not only will increase in value, but will also last for many years to come.

In recent years there have been discussions among collectors suggesting that the internet may actually be hurting the sports cards and collectibles hobby. They point to decreased card show attendance and the struggles of brick and mortar stores as evidence of the demise of the hobby. I am here to tell you that they are wrong. Not only was collecting not ruined by the internet, it was saved by it. That’s right, the internet saved sports collectibles. There is more money in the hobby now, consumers have more buying options, and it is easier to start a business than ever before. Those things are good for everyone involved.

The ‘Golden Age’ of Collecting

Within the last 15 years we have seen the sports cards and collectibles market fall from grace only to rise again to it’s current form. Most collectors and business owners over the age of 20 will point to the late 1980’s and early 1990’s as the best time to be a collector and the best time to be a dealer. Up until that point the sports card hobby had grown steadily from the 1970’s, when shops started popping up around the country, in to a $1.4 billion a year national pastime in 1992.

Card shows were packed with dealers selling top notch memorabilia, signature prices were still reasonable, no authentication was necessary because counterfeiting was minimal, and card shops were able to thrive with loyal customers who were begging to spend their excess cash in their stores week after week. And I don’t disagree with any of this – those truly were great times to be a collector. But factors out of collectors and dealers control would cause the ‘golden age’ of collecting to come to an end.

All Good Things Come to an End

As the US entered recession in the early 1990’s the hobby crashed. Couple economical problems with a hobby oversaturated with companies trying to capitalize on collectors by overproducing (and thus devaluing) their product, and we were left with a hobby on life support. Americans gravitated towards spending their money on other things and card sales plummeted to $400 million in 1999. Failure was inevitable and neither the collector nor the business owner could do anything about it.

The Rebirth of Collecting Online

Lucky for collectors, this little thing called the internet had grown from an information exchange for research, education, and government use into an economic juggernaut that pulled the country out of recession and into the age of eCommerce. Largely due to the advent of eBay, the hobby went virtual and hasn’t looked back since. In 2003, eBay alone sold $3 billion in cards – more than twice the sales of the entire industry at the peak of the ‘golden age’. In addition to eBay, other auction sites, trading forums, as well as fixed price web sites have sprouted up all over the internet. The amount of money in the hobby now is far greater than it ever has been.

Collecting is BETTER Because of the Internet

Not only did the internet save a dying hobby, it made it better. Consumers now have more choices. According to Beckett.com, 34% of collectors still buy in shops, 33.1 % from online auctions, 24.5% buy from online fixed price dealers, and the remaining through other methods. You can still go to a card shop or show (although their presence has been reduced), but the internet has enabled consumers to find what they are looking for easier and cheaper. The consumer is now able to become more educated in less time. In minutes they can compare prices from stores all across the world. They can join message board discussions and chat rooms with other collectors to exchange both information and memorabilia. The hobby can now reach everyone, not just those with a card shop or show nearby and some free time on a Saturday.

Counterfeiting a by Product of Success, Not the Internet

One potential downside to internet that a naysayer is quick to point out is the increase in counterfeit memorabilia. It has been estimated by the FBI that over half of all autographed memorabilia is forged. While this is bad for the hobby, it is not solely because of the internet, and it is not a problem faced solely by sports collectibles. Most other industries (music, movies, software, etc) that thrive on the internet are also subjected to counterfeiting. It is the nature of the beast. There will always be people looking to make money by cheating the system. As technology increases, it becomes easier and easier to create counterfeit memorabilia, as well as to counterfeit CD’s, DVD’s, and software. The best thing that we can do is educate our consumers and continue to develop measures against counterfeiting. Unfortunately, counterfeiting is a by product of the success the industry has had on the internet. The hobby was not brought to the internet by counterfeiters looking for an easier way to scam collectors, nor did the internet “cause” counterfeiting.

Where Would We be Without the Internet?

Back to those who would rather the internet never happened: where do you think the hobby would be today without the internet? It is illogical to think that it would have been able to boom without it. It likely would have continued to struggle. Instead it has flourished. To think that less information exchange, higher prices, and more difficulty finding items is good for the hobby is ludicrous. It seems that the only ones who are complaining are those who have failed to embrace the change. Those who have taken advantage of the many resources the web has to offer are certainly not complaining. The reality is that it the hobby is far bigger and better today than it ever was in the past.

Business is Good for Businesses Large and Small

From a business owner’s perspective, the market is better today than ever. There is significantly more money in the hobby today than there was in 1992 and it is much easier to start a business. All you really need to do is start posting auctions on eBay and you can grow from there – no store, no employees, not even a table at a show. Anyone can do it. The catch here is that it is drastically different than it was ten or fifteen years ago. And where there is change, there are always those who resist. Many who invested a great deal of time and money starting brick and mortar businesses during the ‘golden years’ only to see them collapse were not quick to embrace the internet. While I certainly feel bad for those who lost their business, I don’t correlate that to the internet being bad for the hobby. I can also point to all of those (myself included) who wouldn’t have even had a chance at entering the industry fifteen years ago, who now have had the possibility to live their passion because of what the internet has brought to the table.

Embrace the ‘New Golden Age’

Factors outside of our control caused the ‘golden age’ to end, but by adopting technology and using it to grow and expand the hobby we have introduced a new golden age – one that is better for both buyer and seller. Change in everything is inevitable. We should be embracing this new golden age of collecting as opposed to wishing it never happened.

Co-Founder of Mattel Toy Company Ruth Handler probably had no idea that the doll she designed in 1959, which she named “Barbie”, would still be so popular almost fifty years later. The Barbie doll has been around so long that its first original models are now highly coveted collectibles that can bring in some very high prices.

One of the reasons for the Barbie doll’s success, right from the beginning and up until today, is her ability to change with the times. When Barbie first came out she was original in the fact that she was not a baby doll, but a doll that represented a young woman. Young girls could play with this doll and pretend that they were “grown up”, and through Barbie could imagine themselves in different grown up roles and situations. Playing with a Barbie doll was a great way for little girls to dream about what they would like to be like when they were older – and it still is.

Although today’s Barbie looks slightly different from the first Barbie, she still has the same basic design. What have really changed over the years are the Barbie clothes and Barbie accessories. Barbie has always reflected the times, and her clothes and accessories over the years have shown that. The first Barbies wore mostly dresses, and sometimes tasteful bathing suits, and their accessories included mostly purses, hats, and jewelry. The Ken doll came along to be Barbie’s boyfriend, and then her wardrobe also consisted of prom dresses and wedding gowns. During the late 60’s, Barbie started sporting a wardrobe that was a little more “groovy”, and eventually she started driving her own car and even living in her own apartment. Throughout the years, Barbie has become more “independent”, and has had several types of jobs and the accessories to go with them.

Today’s Barbie is hip, fashionable, fits well into the fast pace of society, and little girls still love her. With modern technology being what it is, Barbie has now branched out into video and the Internet. The website www.barbie.com has several interactive games for children to play, and children can also buy videos where they can watch a cartoon Barbie have all sorts of adventures. The actual Barbie doll, however, is still what is most popular with young girls. Through her they are still role-playing; testing out different roles that they might want to try out when they grow up.

Most memorabilia for sporting events is based on professional
sports, but there are other types of sports collectibles and
memorabilia that are collectible too. Baseball collectors might
become interested in collecting by creating a collection of
photographs while they are actively involved in baseball during
their high school years. The transition to collecting baseball
cards that exhibit professional baseball players will be an easy
one, because most boys will collect a baseball card when they
attend their first professional baseball game.

A change could occur in the types of sports collectibles and
memorabilia a boy prefers, as he grows older. While attending
baseball games with family and friends, there will be plenty of
time for friends to share what their collecting interests are.
Some friends might prefer to collect National Football gear and
specifically focus their collecting interests on the football
collectibles that bear an autograph or abbreviated signature.
These collectibles are the types that increase in value over
many years.

Some collectibles and sports oriented memorabilia will come
with certificates of authentication. This type of collectible is
usually released by a sports organization and is a true
representation of the uniforms and uniform accessories that are
worn on the playing field during each professional sports event.
These certificates are genuine proof that the collectible is a
valuable item and some collectors will not invest money in
collectibles if they do not come with a certificate of
authenticity.

Memorabilia such as photographs could have been taken by anyone
at anytime. This includes fans, professional photographers or by
a studio representative that were hired by the sports league to
produce group photographs of every team in a league. This type
of memorabilia is hard to authenticate but can be used by novice
collectors to gain autographs from players at sporting events.
The success rate for fans to get the chance to have a player
sign such a photograph are rare opportunities, which is why they
are considered to be such collectible items by fans.

The types of sports collectibles and memorabilia could be
classified under indoor or outdoor sports interests, but a
seasoned collector will know immediately to search both areas
when they visit an outdoor flea market. Some uniform items could
be memorabilia that has been placed behind glass to protect it,
and the collector might have to review shadow boxes in a corner,
or glass top cases that are incorporated into the top of a
coffee table. A seasoned collector will also know to look at
various walls in a sports collector’s shop because collectibles
come in all shapes and sizes

Due to the size of some sports collectibles, it may be
necessary for fans and sports enthusiasts to look in a field or
a barn to find the collectibles they want to own. Many sports
stadiums have retired goal posts, bases and yardage markers from
Bowl games held many years before. This type of sports
collectible is one of a kind and hard to find and storing these
items might require facilities that are out of the ordinary.

Some sports collectibles have been auctioned by sportsmen by
mistake and were returned to the original owner many years
later. These instances have served to show others that
collecting memorabilia still has some sentimental values
attached to it that no fan in good conscience could ever take
away from the person who made it collectible in the first place.
Fans know that these items or others like it will find their way
to the sports hall of fame where millions of people can enjoy
them.

If you are not familiar with the term memorabilia, then you
must know that memorabilia refers to individual items of
historical value such as programs, posters, brochures,
clippings, buttons, pennants, cards and stickers. So, baseball
memorabilia must-haves refer to baseball souvenirs.

And, when it comes to baseball souvenirs, the most common
things that people collect are baseball balls and baseball bats,
most of the times with original autographs of some players on
them. Autographed collectible items have grown into a huge
industry.

There are hundreds and hundreds of places where you can buy
baseball memorabilia. The easiest way to find baseball
memorabilia is by surfing the internet. Just type “baseball
memorabilia” on a search engine and you will instantly find
hundreds of websites that deal with these items. You can easily
find balls, jerseys, cards, photos, helmets, bats, gloves or any
other sports related pieces of equipment. All you need is the
money to buy them.

Next, there are specialized sports memorabilia stores, where
you can find really interesting stuff. There are numerous people
that prefer to sell such items for some extra money.
Unfortunately, the market is also full of fakes. And still,
there are some things that you can do to avoid buying fake
baseball memorabilia. The first thing you must do is to make
sure you purchase baseball memorabilia from reliable dealers.
Try to look for people who carry the big name dealers on the
sports market. For example Steiner Sports, Upper Deck, and a few
others can really be considered trustworthy. Really valuable
autographed sports memorabilia is hard to find so if you see a
no-name vendor with every athlete in the book, be wary
(especially if he is printing Certificates of Authenticity on
his home computer). Another method of ensuring authenticity is
by only buying collectible items with a PSA/DNA authentication.
PSA/DNA is a leader in the sports authentication marketplace and
they issue certificates of authenticity for a fee.

An important aspect to remember is that sports memorabilia, and
especially signed sports memorabilia, always come with proper
documentation and holograms. So, a Certificate of Authenticity
(COA) issued by a well-known, credible and reliable company in
the sports memorabilia industry is a must. Just use the
internet, and you can easily locate a seller you are considering
doing business with and you might get some information that
could save you a lot of time and money. Specialized forums are
also reliable sources of information. You can discuss with other
seasoned collectors about baseball souvenirs and get advice for
places and people to buy from. You might even want to consider
dealing with a small handful of people whom you trust doing
business with to limit any chance of getting cheated.

In general, when you are looking to purchase baseball
memorabilia that will increase in value, buy only valuable
items. There are several factors that count here: the popularity
of the baseball player, the quantity of a certain item available
on the market, whether the player is/was inducted into the Hall
of Fame, whether they are still alive, etc. Lastly, ensure that
the condition of the memorabilia you are collecting is in good
condition. Many times, humidity and UV light can damage items
displayed in a home or in a store.

There is a big market for Hollywood Entertainment/Memorabilia.
Many collectors focus on collecting original autographs of movie
stars, movie producers and the cast members of Broadway plays
and musicals. Once a movie star is deceased, the value of their
signature on anything is considered to be a highly valued item.

Other Hollywood Entertainment/Memorabilia items focus on things
that are directly connected with a specific movie. Some
collectors prefer to collect miles of film that were outtakes of
a movie and were never viewed by the general public in a movie
theatre. These glimpses to the past are very rare and highly
sought after by collectors because they are investments that
could reap great rewards if they are released to the Public.

Some Hollywood Entertainment/Memorabilia items are reprints.
The originals were marketed as limited editions and are
extremely collectible. The public at large has expressed extreme
interest in using these reprints to decorate their homes or
create shrines for their favorite actors and actresses. The
reprints that are autographed by the individual are also
considered to be highly collectible.

Every movie has a music score and some Hollywood
Entertainment/Memorabilia music items are very hard to find.
Some movie producers will use a music score only once for the
opening night and then assign several versions of the movie
score to be played at movie theatres in various parts of the
country. The original music score for a Hollywood
Entertainment/Memorabilia item is priceless.

There has been considerable interest in using Hollywood
Entertainment Memorabilia as wallpaper for cellular telephones.
Fans of Marilyn Monroe or James Dean can now enjoy their idol
and carry their image around with them every day when the image
is placed on the display area of their mobile phone.

Music scores from movies, comedy routines and television
programs have been converted to MP3 files and are used
throughout the world on mobile phones. These Hollywood
Entertainment/Memorabilia items have been converted to
ringtones. Now callers can be identified by the voice of Frank
Sinatra or the sultry voice of Mae West.

Many people prefer to use the old cartoons as background images
on their PDAs, mobile phones or laptop computers. The Hollywood
Entertainment/Memorabilia that used to entertain us during
intermission can now be found in all sorts of places, including
the shirts that we wear and the designs that we place on our
pants. Hollywood Entertainment/Memorabilia sales have been brisk
and there is still a way to market the oldies and goodies that
brought joy to so many lives, so long ago.
